DRINK
We have a comprehensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We have lagers of Fosters, San Miguel and Kronenburg. Our ciders include Strongbow and Original Bulmers. Real Ales are subject to change but we like and hope you like Theakstons Bitter 3.8% ABV, Speckled Hen 4.5% ABV and Abbots Ale5% ABV. For those who still enjoy Johns smiths and Guinness, these appear on our bar counter as well.
We keep a range of wines supplied by a local family wine cellar, who strive to keep the standards of their wine lists with us high and popular. We use Gallo as our house wine with a range of 9 different makes. Pinot Grigio is also available - a good quality bottle that won’t disappoint as accompaniment to your meal or as your watching the walkers go by on our terrace in summer. In the winter we sell mulled wine, extremely popular on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day after the traditional family walk, its ideal to seek out the chill quickly. Freshly ground coffee and hot chocolate is available. A large cappuccino, chocolate and liqueur floater coffee all become addictive.
Come and watch the rain run down the window and off the hills in front of our fires. You feel more energised than if you had walked to the four stones monument and back.
